1:12 Scale Halloween Treat Bag Printable DIY

As the days grow shorter and Jack-o-lanterns appear it's time to deck your dollhouse or mini scene out too. Vintage inspired Halloween decor in real life and mini are my favorite and I wanted to share this printable pattern and tutorial to help you get in the mood for all things spooky and scary. It's simple and most of the supplies are probably already in your stash.

What you’ll need:

- 8.5" x 11" piece of Kraft paper or brown paper lunch bag
- printer (black & white or color)
- glue
- x-acto and straight edge or sharp scissors
- toothpicks
- colorful miniature treats

Download pattern and print on Kraft paper or paper lunch bag (cut to 8.5" x 11").

Cut bag shape along solid black line using x-acto and straight edge or sharp scissors.

Carefully fold one panel towards center. Put a few tiny dots of glue on the overlapping back panel and bottom tab. Fold the remaining back panel toward the center and fold bottom tab up over both. Hold for a few seconds to adhere (be sure to keep glue from getting inside the bag to make it easier to fill).

Open up your tiny bag and overflow with handmade fimo sweets, tiny printable candy bars or Sarah from Kawaii Corgi Crafts has adorable polymer clay sprinkles that are perfect for spilling out the top. Happy all Hallow's Eve!

The printable pattern for the treat bag is 1:12 scale but can easily be scaled up or down using the settings on your printer. Read Beginner's Guide to Miniature Scales for tips on scales and sizing.
